Armoire - Uncle Vanya

For my first large project with Berkeley Rep, I was tasked with building an armoire with removable doors. I assembled this armoire on my own, with the guidance of my mentor. Building it from the ground up, I learned to appreciate the process of furniture making, as I had never built something like this before. I learned a lot about cutting at an angle, to make the corners of the armoire line up cleanly, and how to attach molding. Building out of red oak as well as red oak laminated plywood, I had to take special care to edge band any exposed plywood edges. I did not participate in the painting and weathering of this piece.
